New Furniture and Lighting Collection

Celebrating the joy of contrast, this year we are highlighting the opposite qualities of our new products – Rough and Smooth.

The rough because this season we have worked on even more textural honesty and material weight  in our production.

And the smooth because we are still fascinated by extreme polished surfaces, sharp lines and modern manufacturing.

Eight new product families include tables, a book and a coat stand, mirrors and lighting.

Cell, intricate shadow caster

 Just like our much loved Etch ShadeCell is made from etched brass.

 Tiny holes across the surface filter the light to cast intricate shadows

 and throw a beautifully dappled glow. Cell short pendant and wall light

 use a brass crown LED bulb developed exclusively by Tom Dixon with

MEGAMANAvailable in a short and tall pendant and a wall light. Coming soon

Flask, a spherical glass pendant

Like a mysterious chemistry experiment, Flask is a spherical

hand-blown glass light made up of two parts: a flask and a hood.

The bottom flask is ridged and rounded to refract light and give a

warm, rippled glow while the top hood is smoked to cover the lamp

and give an elegant subtlety. Coming soon.

adidas by Tom Dixon

  We are proud to announce our collaboration with international sportswear brand adidas.

Our partnership premiers new typologies in luggage, footwear and apparel.

The beginning of this new design hybrid is debuted in MOST, Milan within an immense

 environment of a reconstructed 19th century railway station.

A Unique Glow

Unika is a mouth blown series of small, glass pendant lamps, with its base made of solid brass.

The essence of the lamp is not only its design but also the light it emits.

The bulb used in the Unika lamp is E14, Max 60 W. A 25 W transparent incandescent bulb is recommended, as it not only emits the desired light effect but also is an essential part of the transparent  lamp design.

Read more about Unika here.

Choose the Right Bulb! Create the right mood!

Northern Lightings' Bulb Guide offers advice and information on choosing the right light source for our range of lamps.

It addresses both aesthetic and technical aspects of the bulbs, such as:
* shape
* size
* temperature
* light quality and strength
* Lifetime and accessibility
